ATmega2560
Microchip ATmega2560 8-bit AVR MCU, 256 KB flash, 4 KB EEPROM, 8 KB SRAM, 16 MHz, 86 I/O, in a 100-pin TQFP package.
The ATmega2560 is a Microchip high-performance 8-bit AVR RISC-based microcontroller in a 100-pin package, the largest of the classic ATmega AVR family. It offers 256 KB of in-system self-programmable flash, 4 KB of EEPROM and 8 KB of SRAM, with 86 general-purpose I/O lines and 32 general-purpose working registers, and the AVR core reaches about 16 MIPS at 16 MHz with most instructions in a single clock cycle. The peripheral set is extensive: six flexible timer/counters with compare and PWM modes, four USARTs, a byte-oriented two-wire serial interface for I2C, five SPI ports, a 16-channel 10-bit analog-to-digital converter, a JTAG interface for on-chip debugging and a real-time counter, which suit a complex control, a data-acquisition or a multi-interface application. The device operates between about 4.5 V and 5.5 V and provides the memory and the I/O that a large 8-bit design needs, in a package that is easy to route. Typical applications include complex control systems, data acquisition, multi-interface instrumentation and industrial control, and education. Availability is confirmed per project. Every device BeiLuo ships is factory-traceable and includes an import declaration, a certificate of origin and a RoHS compliance file. Our FAE team helps you choose the memory and the package and plan the software and the peripherals.
FAE Professional Review
The ATmega2560 is the large 8-bit AVR for a design that needs 256 KB of flash, 8 KB of SRAM and 86 I/O lines, with four USARTs, five SPI ports and a 16-channel ADC. It suits a complex control or a multi-interface instrument where an 8-bit core is still enough. Availability is confirmed per project, so share the volume for the lead time.

Frequently Asked Questions
What projects suit the ATmega2560?
It suits a complex 8-bit design that needs 256 KB of flash, 8 KB of SRAM and 86 I/O lines, with four USARTs, five SPI ports and a 16-channel ADC, such as a multi-interface instrument or a large control system.
Share the volume for the lead time.
When is an 8-bit part still enough?
An 8-bit AVR is enough when the workload is a control or a data-acquisition task with modest computation, and the large memory and the rich peripheral set of the ATmega2560 cover a wide range without a 32-bit core. Choose a 32-bit part only when the computation or the memory demands it.
Our FAE team can help decide.
How is stock and lead time handled?
